Why has Freshpaint updated its Terms of Service?
At Freshpaint, we’re constantly working to evolve our healthcare privacy platform to better serve our customers and ensure they’re empowered to use the industry’s best marketing tools while remaining compliant with privacy regulations like HIPAA. These updates reflect:
- Enhancements in our product offerings, including new features and services.
- Improved clarity and transparency regarding our operations and how we provide customer support.
- Updates to better reflect our mutually beneficial partnership with our customers.

What's changed?
- Clearer Language. We’ve simplified the terms and made our language more transparent to make them easier to read and understand.
- Terms to Account for New Products and Features. As we introduce new tools and capabilities, we’ve included provisions to address them and updated existing provisions.
- Data Handling and Security Practice Updates. We’ve clarified how we handle customer data, including processing, storage, and our security commitments to customers.
- Clarity Regarding our Subscription Model. We’ve provided more details around billing, renewals, and overages to ensure more transparency in our subscription model.
- Updated Freshpaint and Customer Responsibilities. We’ve clarified roles and obligations around data usage, security and compliance to ensure a more seamless and mutually beneficial partnership with our customers.
- Enhanced Confidentiality and Intellectual Property Protections. We’ve refined our approach to confidentiality and intellectual property, reinforcing protections that support both Freshpaint and our customers in a dynamic business environment.
When do these changes take effect?
The updated Terms of Service will take effect on April 29, 2025.
Do I need to take any action?
No immediate action is required. However, we encourage you to review the updated Terms to ensure you understand the changes. If you have any questions, feel free to contact your dedicated Account Manager or contact us at legal@freshpaint.io.
How do these updates affect my current subscription?
If you are an existing Freshpaint customer currently subject to Freshpaint's online Terms of Service, your existing subscription and service access remain unchanged, and these terms of service will apply to any new Order Forms you enter into with Freshpaint and/or upon your renewal.
